In Denver for Training

Just wanted to give you all a quick update. I’m in Denver and started my training today. Nothing too exciting to talk about on that front so I won’t bore you.

I met a bunch of people who are going to various stations and field camps. All of whom are interesting. I’m not going to write much today as things are just getting started and there is not much to talk about at the moment. Let me know if you have any questions and I’ll do my best to answer them. I can’t promise that I’ll give you the correct answer but I’ll give it a shot. Miss you all.

Tips From the Top Floor

Dear Mom,

Hope things are well.  Just letting you know that I recently had a question featured on Chris Marquardt’s podcast: Tips from the Top floor.  This is the webs best photography podcast.

I asked a question about shooting while in Antarctica.  He talks about working in extreme conditions.  It is very cold and very bright there,  both are problems for photography.  Anyway, I’ll post some photos when I get there and make sure to link them here.

For now you can listen to the podcast by clicking on this link: Tips for photography in Antarctica.

Only 5 days until I start my trip to Antarctica.

Will write again soon.
